For the Easter break, Naturkraft is launching Naturkraft new exploration concept—an “exploration backpack” that you can take with you around the park and fill with knowledge about the wonderful world of bees.

By completing various tasks and participating in activities, you can earn a silver or gold star to attach to your backpack.

Bork Vikingehavn

At Bork Vikingehavn on a journey 1,000 years back in time—to the Viking Age in West Jutland—where you can explore the houses and ships and get a glimpse into the daily lives of the Vikings.

During the Easter break, you can try out various activities, all of which are related to the Vikings’ preparations for their summer expeditions.

Fiskeriets Hus

At Fiskeriets Hus , visitors of all ages Fiskeriets Hus explore the exhibits and delve into the fascinating history of fishing and Hvide Sande.

Climb aboard the ships and take on the role of captain for a day, go on a treasure hunt for some of the fish and sea creatures that live in the waters off Hvide Sande, or let your imagination run wild at the maritime-themed playground.

Lyngvig Fyr

Lyngvig Fyr a great destination for visitors of all ages. Enjoy the fantastic views of the sea and the fjord, and take walks in the beautiful natural surroundings.

If you’re into adventures, you can download the Natureventyr app for free and join Anker and Hugo the viper on a mission to rescue a stranded whale. Adventure-seeking adults can try their hand at rappelling from the top of the lighthouse on Wednesdays.

At the lighthouse keeper’s residence café, you can recharge with coffee, cake, and other treats—perhaps while the kids play in the maritime-themed nature playground.

Easter Opening Hours
The lighthouse and the lighthouse keeper’s residence are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting March 28. Rappelling every Wednesday starting at 4 p.m.

Kaj Munks Præstegård

At the old parsonage in Vedersø, you can get an intimate glimpse into the life of Kaj Munk—the man, the pastor, and the resistance fighter—through fascinating exhibitions.

The Vicarage’s latest exhibition, which uses sound and interactive displays to take visitors on a journey through Kaj Munk’s life, has attracted international attention and been nominated for two prestigious awards.

Abelines Gaard

At Abelines Gaard, an old beach bailiff’s farm south of Hvide Sande, you step into a time capsule from the 1900s. Abeline lived here from 1890, when she married Laurids.

Explore the many small, labyrinthine rooms, peek into the alcoves where shipwrecked sailors have spent the night over the years, and enjoy coffee and cake in one of the cozy living rooms.
