Summer at Bork Vikingehavn plenty of exciting experiences for the whole family!
Explore the houses, the watermill, and the ships. Visit the church, light a candle, and perhaps make an offering to the Vikings’ Norse gods in the sacrificial grove. All over the harbor, you can meet Vikings and watch them go about their many daily tasks.
On your tour of the Viking harbor, you can try your hand at a variety of activities. Among other things, you can learn to write in runes, make a leather pouch, or try your hand at archery like real Vikings.
As a new feature, every day throughout the summer you’ll be able to hear a Viking talk about Viking weapons and going on raids—just as the Vikings did during the summer months. The talks are in German at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., in Danish at 11:30 a.m., and in English at 2:30 p.m.
Bork Vikingehavn open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dogs are welcome, and children and teenagers up to 18 years of age get free admission when accompanied by an adult.
