Lyngvig Fyr is temporarily closed!

Blåvandshuk Nature Agency has recommended Ringkøbing Fjord Museums to close public access to Lyngvig Fyr with immediate effect. The recommendation follows an inspection of the building's condition.

We are awaiting the final inspection report and hope that we will soon be able to announce a timeline for the reopening of the lighthouse.

The lighthouse keeper's house is open
In the meantime, the Lighthouse Master's Residence with café and shop will remain open every day from 11am to 4pm. So it will still be possible for visitors to enjoy the lighthouse from the dunes and experience the stories told in the area around the large maritime-inspired nature playground.

Excellent views

Very nice lighthouse with excellent views. If you are in the area, you should check it out. We were there at sunset and it was gigantic.

Beautiful lighthouse with stunning views

A beautiful lighthouse with a fantastic view of the dune landscape and the North Sea. The lighthouse café is really cozy and the playground is a highlight for our children.
