Rappelling
Every Wednesday from April-October you can refuel your adrenaline account by rappelling down from Lyngvig Fyr - if you dare!
Lyngvig Fyr is one of Denmark's tallest lighthouses. Climb the 228 steps to the top and you're now 53 meters above sea level.
You're standing with other daredevils and spirits are high. Who will go first? You feel the fresh sea breeze and your legs shake a little. "Let's get you ready," the instructor says to you and pulls out some rope. You've never abseiled before. But anyone can abseil! That's what they've told you.
Leg over the rail
Your legs are shaking a bit more now. You have to climb over the railing! "We've got you", says the instructor, looking you in the eye. You are guided as you lean backwards over the lighthouse. The butterflies in your stomach have never been wilder!
Down to the ground
It's easy. And your heart isn't racing quite so much anymore. The view is amazing from here! On the way down, you'll see your family applauding you as your foot hits the ground. You did it!
All Team Nord instructors are trained climbers, so you're in safe hands with us. Maybe you can even entice a friend to join you on the trip down?
