We collect, preserve and tell 10,000 years of cultural history for the citizens and visitors of West Jutland through exhibitions, reconstructed environments, tours and publications.

Arkæologi Vestjylland is a joint archaeological unit between Ringkøbing Fjord Museer and Vardemuseerne with responsibility for archaeological excavations in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality and Varde Municipality.
