In 2023, Ringkøbing Fjord Museums adopted new statutes approved by the City Council of Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality and the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces.

The bylaws describe topics such as the museum's purpose, responsibilities, board composition, budget, work plan, budget accounting and much more.
