Ringkøbing bunkers

Not all traces can be seen today when walking around Ringkøbing, but on this bunker tour we pass many of the places where there are traces of the Second World War. The school where the occupying forces were housed is gone, but the history is still there.

You will see - and not least enter - the bunkers that were built in the town in the early 1940s inside the town. The bunkers were used, among other things, when Allied planes flew in over Ringkøbing - and when you stand on top of the bunkers, it is not difficult to imagine what it must have been like when the planes came at night.
