In Bjørslev Plantage you can explore Bjørslev Mose, one of the few remaining bogs in West Jutland. You can also take a walk in Ulvedalen, which is a gorge created by ice and meltwater around 130,000 years ago. The area is also still filled with large boulders, as the uneven terrain meant it wasn't suitable for farmland, so no farmers have laboriously removed the stones. In the late 1800s the area was planted and Bjørslev Plantage emerged, and around 100 years later lignite was dug for.
Today, the area is a great place for a walk. And on your walk you can meet the animals that graze the area.
