The history of the Christmas tree and green forest elves

"The Christmas tree on a visit... greeting us from oak and beech" is a well-known Christmas carol. During the dark Christmas season, we gather in our living rooms with light and warmth to protect us from the winter cold - far away from nature. But how did nature end up penetrating the heart of Danish Christmas traditions?

Visit Naturkraft in November and December and travel through the history of the Christmas tree through the row of Christmas trees decorated with period Christmas decorations over the last 200 years. Also, take a tour of the park and listen to stories and hear how the West Jutland Christmas traditions are closely linked to the nature of West Jutland.

Christmas is a children's party, so of course there are also experiences for the kids, who can make their own Christmas tree lights, hunt for the green forest elves and make new Christmas decorations from old ornaments and recycled materials.

A day ticket costs DKK 130 for adults and DKK 95 for children aged 3-17. Children under the age of 3 are admitted free of charge.
