Christmas lights
Light has always played a special role in the dark winter, because only light could keep the many dangers of darkness at bay.
Christmas lights came to Denmark along with the Christmas tree, and in the beginning, the Christmas tree lights were red, white and blue, which are the Schleswig-Holstein colors. However, since the defeat to Germany in 1864, only the lights in the colors of Dannebrog are put on the Christmas tree.
Come and hear the whole story of Christmas lights and if you're creative, you can also make your own Christmas lights to put on your Christmas tree at home.
The activity takes place on all opening days from 11:00-12:30 and is included in the day ticket.
