Fulldome: WIND FORCE

Sit back and let the west wind take you through West Jutland's wind adventure. In a new exhibition created in collaboration with the renowned design agency Tinker Imagineers, Naturkraft takes you on a journey to the Middle Ages, the oil crisis, the green transition and the future.

Fulldome experience 

The dome you've entered soon becomes a canvas. You take a seat on the bench and are taken on a journey through the history of West Jutland. With the west wind whistling in your ears, you see the first stump mill. Soon the large Dutch mills will rise. And on the heels of the oil crisis, the wind turbines we know today begin to take shape. 

From the Middle Ages to the future

Everything you experience is based in West Jutland. From the first breath to the green future. From the medieval stump mill found where Naturkraft's parking lot is today, to the Dutch wind turbines erected around Ringkøbing Fjord. The story also takes you on the West Jutland wind adventure: the first pioneers and their dream of green energy. It all ends with a glimpse into the future, where the triumph of wind turbines continues. 

When the movie is over, you can experience an exhibition showcasing items from the movie's chapters. See parts of the stump grinder, get up close to the mechanical parts of large wind turbines and be seduced by the hopes for the future.

Outside the dome there is more green energy and wind power. Scan the QR codes and learn more about the development over 100 years. Explore the "house" where you can control the weather and see how much green electricity is produced in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality. Or build West Jutland's wind farms at the wind turbine table.
