The history of Santa

Christmas in West Jutland has been shaped over time by where it was celebrated. Join a short guided tour in Naturkraft every day and hear how rakkers celebrated Christmas on the moors, how the history of the elf goes back 2000 years and became farm elves and forest elves, and finally how sailors protected themselves from the dangers of the sea with their very own ship's elf "Klapøjtermanden".

There are guided tours on all opening days at 12:30 pm in Danish and 1:30 pm in German. The activity is included in the day ticket.

Get an overview of opening days and activities here.

A day ticket costs DKK 130 for adults and DKK 95 for children aged 3-17. Children under the age of 3 are admitted free of charge.
