Introduction to Kaj Munk
May 3, 11:15 am - May 3, 12:00 pm
Every Friday throughout the season, Ringkøbing Fjord Museer organizes an introduction to Kaj Munk. It is free once the entrance fee has been paid, and it prepares you well for exploring the museum on your own.
The vicarage in Vedersø formed the backdrop for Kaj Munk's life and work. It was here that his pen filled the paper with plays, poems, letters, sermons and articles. It was here that he and his wife Lise started their family. It was also the vicarage that was the setting for the last night of the poet-priest's life, the night he was taken away by his Nazi executioners in 1944. Today, the vicarage in Vedersø is a museum where Kaj Munk's life is presented and put into perspective.
The introduction is in Danish.
