The schnapps herb season is now in full swing, and the first exciting herbs are ready to be picked. Grab a basket and join one of Ringkøbing Fjord Museum’s nature and culture guides on a pleasant schnapps-picking tour at Kaj Munks Præstegård.
Gathering wild herbs and using them in schnapps has long been a way to harness nature's resources and add unique flavors to the drink. This practice is part of West Jutland's cultural heritage and reflects the area's close connection to nature.
During the walk, the museum’s nature and culture guide will not only talk about the relevant herbs used in schnapps, but also about the local nature and culture.
