Explore the history of wind power in Naturkraft

This year's new addition to Naturkraft is a brand new fulldome experience that takes you on a journey back in the history of wind power and into the future. There have been wind turbines in West Jutland since the Middle Ages - even right where Naturkraft is located today, and wind turbines are still being built in West Jutland. Right now, giant offshore wind turbines are being erected on the North Sea not far from Ringkøbing, where modern wind power began.

The whole family can also experience the big wind show, go on a wind expedition and feel the power of the wind first-hand or explore the exhibition that highlights the history of wind power from West Jutland. Come to the wind show and see how the wind is created, how the wind can do somersaults when it hits something and how we humans can use wind turbines to harvest the green energy that the wind carries.

Explore our wind power and renewable energy exhibition and see if you can balance the energy produced with the energy we use.
