Become an insect helper

Insects help us in incredible ways. Ants transport bacteria via their feet up into our trees. Here, the bacteria protect the trees from other invasive fungi and bacteria. So if you have ants in your garden, put some food for them in the upper branches. The ants will climb to the top and leave their footprints all the way up the trunk. Your tree will thank you. 

We can help bees find a home. We can do this in the simplest way possible, by simply drilling holes in a trunk and leaving it in our garden. Bees, in turn, pollinate the flowers around us and create fruit and plant life in our garden. If you want some extra color in your garden, make a home for your bees.
