Sing-along event with the Circle of Friends

Thursday, May 4 at 19.00 we celebrate the liberation with a song and story evening in Kaj Munks Præstegård. Candles are lit in the windows of the rectory.
In the lecture hall, we will sing a number of our well-known Danish songs that express the joyful message of freedom after five years of occupation. The evening will be linked together by folk high school teacher Thomas H. Hundebøll, singer Rebecca Rosengaard and organist Olav Rex Christensen. In between the songs, stories will be told from World War II and the very special days about Denmark's history around May 4 and 5, 1945, and what it means to live in freedom.
Price: members 50 kr. Non-members: 75 kr. The entrance fee is incl. 1 beer / water per person. Registration no later than Sunday 30.4.
