Walking tour with a focus on nature, culture and history! 

Join an exciting walk from Lyngsmose Fortress to Kvindhøje on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 10 am - approx. 12 pm

The tour is part of the efforts of the volunteers at Naturkraft to spread awareness of the municipality's rich nature.

We meet at 10 am at the parking lot at Lyngsmosefæstningen, Lyngsmosevej 8B, 6971 Spjald. Here you will hear a story about the 2000-year-old Lyngsmose Fortress. We then walk down to the shelter site, across and along the river Hover Å and up to the protected heathland area. We walk through the protected heathland along the old Hulvej to Kvindhøje, where there is another short story.

We walk back to the parking lot together.

The walk is approx. 4 km long and takes approx. 2 hours including stories. Remember to wear sturdy footwear as we walk on footpaths.
It is free to participate. Just show up; there is no registration. Organizers: The association of volunteers at Naturkraft.
