Student cap

Kaj Munk graduated in 1917 from Nykøbing Katedralskole. But the student cap, or caps, followed him for the rest of his life. He used them so much that he tore them up.

Among other things, he wore his student cap on hunting trips, and at his last sermon in Vedersø on January 1, 1944, he was not wearing a cassock, but a coat and a student cap.

This hat was a Christmas present from Lise Munk in Christmas 1943.
