'What was that all about?'
Audio exhibition about Kaj Munk's life
The focus is on Kaj Munk's life - and especially the fateful events of January 4, 1944 - in the exhibition "What happened?", which tells the story of Kaj Munk.
The exhibition, located in renovated rooms in the farmhouse of the vicarage, takes visitors through Kaj Munk's life via sound and live wallpaper, with a special focus on January 4, 1944, when he was taken by Nazi henchmen and assassinated.
Nominated for an international award
"What the heck just happened?" was created in collaboration with internationally recognized design firm Tinker Imagineers. In spring 2025, the exhibition - along with exhibitions at major museums in Egypt, New Zealand and the rest of the world - was among the nominees for the International Exhibition of the Year award, presented by the UK Museums + Heritage Awards.
