Lecture: The great predators of the sea - the killer whales

Marine biologist and author Hanne Strager, who has written a thesis on killer whales.

Hanne takes us on a journey to some of the places where orcas live. In recent years, orcas off the coasts of Spain and Portugal have attacked over 500 sailboats, sinking at least 3 of them. What is happening, have they gone berserk, are they taking revenge, or is this part of their natural behavior? Hanne has led expeditions, studied orcas and written a book on the subject.

Price: DKK 100 incl. coffee, tea and cake.

It's well worth a visit. You'll learn a lot about fishing and the history of Hvide Sande. You can look at the fish in the aquariums. Very nice.

Interactive for young and old

A living museum where you can learn a lot about fish and fishing/fishing trips. It's interactive for young and old, whether it's on the bridge of a fishing boat or in the cabin. You can also admire and touch fish and crabs.

Very nice museum

Very nice museum about the history of fishing, seafaring etc. The aquarium is also worth a visit.
