Children's tie in the colors of the Royal Airforce
In celebration of the August Uprising on August 29, 1943, Kaj Munk went inside and put on one of his sons' ties. It had the right colors: the red, white and blue of the Royal Air Force. Later, the same colors were repeated on the armbands worn by the freedom fighters when they stepped forward at the liberation on May 5, 1945 - an event Kaj Munk did not live to see.
