Experience the music of the fiddlers at Fiskeriets hus The music played on this day is primarily from the period 1730 - 1850. The fiddlers were storytellers, and through music they told stories about Denmark, about sorrow and joy, about holidays and celebrations.

The fiddling is delivered by a group of musical playmates who are looking forward to making music for an interested audience - see you around?

The group performs in varying line-ups and consists of

Double bass: Jens Peder Knudsen
Guitar: Peter Smidt
Accordion: Jørgen Nickelsen, Niels Hykkelbjerg, Vibeke Smidt and Jan Ilsø

You learn a lot

It's well worth a visit. You'll learn a lot about fishing and the history of Hvide Sande. You can look at the fish in the aquariums. Very nice.

A living museum where you can learn a lot about fish and fishing/fishing trips. It's interactive for young and old, whether it's on the bridge of a fishing boat or in the cabin. You can also admire and touch fish and crabs.

Very nice museum

Very nice museum about the history of fishing, seafaring etc. The aquarium is also worth a visit.
