Lecture: Sun over the top 2012

The evening's speakers are Kirsten Thomsen & Kim Bork Mathiesen who in the summer of 2012 were the first Danes to sail through the fabled Northwest Passage in the sailboat SOL. Hear them talk about their Arctic nature experiences, including encounters with the ruler of the Arctic - the polar bear.

Since their debut as long-distance sailors in 1979, Kirsten & Kim have sailed all the world's oceans and far north and south, covering around 150,000 nautical miles.

Price: DKK 100 incl. coffee, tea and cake.

You learn a lot

It's well worth a visit. You'll learn a lot about fishing and the history of Hvide Sande. You can look at the fish in the aquariums. Very nice.

Interactive for young and old

A living museum where you can learn a lot about fish and fishing/fishing trips. It's interactive for young and old, whether it's on the bridge of a fishing boat or in the cabin. You can also admire and touch fish and crabs.

Very nice museum

Very nice museum about the history of fishing, seafaring etc. The aquarium is also worth a visit.
