Janna.

Summer is at its peak when the schooner Janna sails from Rotterdam to Stockholm on August 2, 1916. The crew of 5 men have loaded the ship with scrap iron, which weighs Janna down. On August 3, the ship is stranded at Sdr. Haurvig. The director of the Bjærgeborg summer camp reports the stranded ship and sends for the rescue service. The summer camp teachers help four of the crew members onto the beach. But the captain doesn't show up.

Throughout the night, the rescue team tries to get signs of life from the captain and lights stranding lights on the beach. The next morning, three men set up a ladder from the summer camp against the ship's main boom and search for the captain. They find him asleep in his cabin. It is believed that he has had one too many drinks when the ship runs aground. Within minutes, they assemble the lifeboat chair and take the captain ashore.

The cargo can still be used. It is salvaged and transported to Stockholm. The ship also proves to be salvageable.
