Riddle hunting

Go on a riddle hunt in Hvide Sande and go back to the time when the Second World War broke out. Through codes and riddles, you will experience how the war left its mark and how, through unity, you can crack the Codes of War.

Equipped with a map from the 1940s and a newspaper with historical facts, you'll be taken on a tour of Hvide Sande. Even though it's been many years since the war ended, you can still find traces of the time when Denmark was occupied. As you walk around the town, you'll get closer to the history of Hvide Sande - and to cracking the codes.

Practical information

Crack the Codes of War is a riddle hunt for the whole family. It is recommended that you are between 2-6 people. The riddle hunt takes approx. 1.5 hours, but it is obvious to take breaks along the way and explore Hvide Sande in the meantime.

The tour starts and ends at Fiskeriets Huswhere there are also good parking facilities.

The puzzle hunt can be purchased online or in Fiskeriets Hus, Nørregade 2B, 6960 Hvide Sande. If you buy a ticket online, you can exchange your certificate for a puzzle paper in Fiskeriets Hus. The puzzles can be picked up during the museum's opening hours, but can be solved whenever you want.
