Bake your own flatbread
In the Viking Age, rye and barley were the main crops. Other crops included oats and wheat, although wheat was rare and therefore reserved for the rich. Bread and porridge were a big part of the Viking diet, and flatbread is one of the easier types of bread as it doesn't require an oven.
At Bork Vikingehavn you can bake your own flatbread. Sit down by the fire, shape the flatbread, bake it over an open fire and get ready to taste a piece of history.
Participation is included in the ticket price.
Children aged 0-17 years have free access to Bork Vikingehavn when accompanied by an adult.
