“Royal Visits to Ringkøbing and the Surrounding Area from 1908 to 1984”
This evening, Jørgen Kristensen, chairman of the Ringkøbing Museum Association, will screen films documenting three different royal visits to Ringkøbing and the surrounding area between 1908 and 1993.
- 1908: King Frederick VIII visited Ringkøbing and Prime Minister I.C. Christensen in Hee.
- 1984: Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, and their two sons, Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim, visited Ringkøbing.
- 1993: Prince Henrik visited Ringkøbing in connection with the town’s 550th anniversary.
Location: City Hall Auditorium, Ringkøbing City Hall, Ved Fjorden 6, 6950 Ringkøbing
Price: 50 DKK (free for members). No registration required.
Organizer: Ringkøbing Museum Association in collaboration with Ringkøbing Fjord Museums.
