Summer at Naturkraft plenty of fun and educational experiences for the whole family!
Equipped with our “expedition backpack,” you can set out on an expedition and fill your backpack with fascinating facts about the wonderful world of bees. Along the way, you’ll complete various tasks and have the opportunity to participate in activities.
In the park’s water world, you can learn about the history of water in West Jutland and, through play, gain an understanding of water’s importance to the region. For example, try crawling through the Skjern Å salmon, see how efficient the water mills are, and learn what a lock actually does.
Every day throughout the summer, you can enjoy two different shows at Naturkraft: one focusing on bees and one focusing on water. The water show is held in the morning, while the bee show takes place in the afternoon.
When you get hungry or thirsty, you can grab a bite at Naturkraft’s café or at the park’s new food truck.
Naturkraft open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting June 27.
Dogs are welcome, and children and teenagers up to 18 years of age get free admission when accompanied by an adult.

Go on an expedition!
When you visit Naturkraft, the whole family can go on an expedition into nature together and explore the wonderful world of bees.
You’ll be given an “exploration backpack” that you can carry around the park and fill with facts about the role of bees in nature. Along the way, you’ll complete various fun and educational activities, and you’ll get to watch a show about the lives of bees.
As an extra, you can choose to add one or more activities. Among other things, you can make a practical beeswax wrap, which is a sustainable alternative to plastic wrap and aluminum foil; plant seeds for bee-friendly flowers in a seedling pot that you can plant at home; or bake herb bread over an open fire and top it with delicious honey.
Depending on how many tasks and activities you complete during your expedition, you can earn a silver or gold star to attach to your “expedition backpack.”

When you visit Naturkraft, you can enjoy a variety of creative activities.
Bake a herb bread
The price for this activity is 25 DKK.
Bake some delicious herb bread over an open fire in our fire pit hut. In our forest garden, you’ll find a wide selection of herbs to add to your bread.
Make a beeswax cloth
The price for this activity is 25 DKK.
Make a practical beeswax cloth that you can take home with you. A sustainable alternative to film and aluminum foil.
Build a Beautiful Wooden Boat
The price for this activity is 25 DKK.
Build a small wooden boat, decorate it if you'd like, and take it for a test sail at Naturkraft before taking it home.

Don't worry about leaving your packed lunch at home!
If you get thirsty and hungry during your visit to Naturkraft, don't despair. Our café offers a varied selection of hot and cold drinks as well as delicious lunch dishes - and of course something for the sweet tooth.
