Meet fishermen, freedom fighters, and a lighthouse keeper without a lighthouse in this exhibition, which explores what life was like in Hvide Sande and on Holmsland Klit during World War II.

You’ll get an up-close look at those who fought in secret, and you can step inside a reconstructed bunker to see how it was set up for the young German soldiers stationed there in 1945.

The exhibition opens on Wednesday, May 13.
