New exhibition!
Come and get a glimpse of what life was like in Hvide Sande and on Holmsland Klit during World War II when we open the doors to a brand-new exhibition at Fiskeriets Hus.
In “A Glimmer in the Dark – Bunkers and the Occupation on Holmsland Klit,” you’ll meet fishermen, freedom fighters, and a lighthouse keeper without a lighthouse.
You’ll get an up-close look at those who fought in secret, and you can step inside a reconstructed bunker to see how it was set up for the young German soldiers stationed there in 1945.
Fiskeriets Hus open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting June 27.
Dogs are welcome, and children and teens up to age 18 get free admission when accompanied by an adult.
