Make a runner wristband

The Vikings didn't write the letters we know today. They wrote runes! Runes were used in everyday life to write messages. They were written on a rune staff, a pound in which runes were carved and then delivered to a recipient.

Runes were also used to write down spells and predict the future - runes were cast.

When you visit Bork Vikingehavn, you can also write with runes. You can write your own name on a piece of leather, which can then be made into a beautiful bracelet.

It costs 2 activity coins to make a rune bracelet.

Children aged 0-17 years have free access to Bork Vikingehavn when accompanied by an adult.
