Rescue exercise with the beach warden

Welcome to the West Coast Rescue Guild! You are about to learn how to rescue small and big sailors ashore.

When Abeline was a young daughter-in-law in the house, the ship Elisabeth Rickmers ran aground. 19 sailors stayed with the family, as Abeline's father-in-law was the beachmaster. Today, you can find both a nameplate and a mahogany table in the large living room that originated with Elisabeth Rickmers. But how were the sailors rescued ashore? You can find out for yourself!

Every Wednesday in July and August at 13:30, you can join the lifeguard for rescue exercises. Participation in the rescue drill is included in your day ticket.
