Bunker tour in Ringkøbing

Join Ringkøbing Fjord Museum's guide around Ringkøbing and experience the history of the Second World War first hand. Not all traces can be seen today when you walk around Ringkøbing, but on this bunker tour we will pass many of the places where there are traces of the Second World War. The school where the occupying forces were housed is gone, but the history is still there. You will see - and not least enter - the bunkers that were built in the city in the early 1940s inside the city. The bunkers were used, among other things, when Allied planes flew in over Ringkøbing - and when you stand on top of the bunkers, it is not difficult to imagine what it must have been like when the planes came at night.

It may be a good idea to take a flashlight with you. Note that the piles can be wet, so it may be an advantage to wear shoes that can withstand it.
