14. Warning sign

Warning sign from the bunkers at Houvig fortress. The sign says “Vorsicht Lebensgefahr” (Warning: Mortal Danger). 

The signs at the bunkers were not only to warn off inquisitive Danes. They also applied to Germans. The young and old recruits from the Kryle gun emplacement were not necessarily welcome at the German Air Force’s ultra-modern Ringelnatter (Adder) radar station.
