Even when construction of Lyngvig Fyr in 1905, it became a popular destination for tourists.

People from near and far came to watch the 38-meter-tall lighthouse take shape.

The lighthouse was completed in 1906, and because it was situated on the top of a dune, its light reached a height of 53 meters above sea level.

Of course, souvenirs were also produced for the many tourists to purchase as mementos of their visit to the lighthouse. A selection of these historic souvenirs can be viewed in the lighthouse tower.
