A small West Jutland time warp

Abelines Gaard is one of the best preserved four-long dune farms along Holmsland Dune. Abeline lived here from 1890, when she married Laurids. The farm is an old beach bailiff's house, and several stranded sailors have spent the night in the farm's numerous alcoves. Explore the labyrinthine rooms and notice all the small, fine details in the architecture.

A little trip into another time

It was like a little trip into another time. The kids had fun walking on stilts. The cake and coffee were very good and the café was really nice.
