Art exhibition

Come to Skjern Vindmølle, where volunteer enthusiasts hold art exhibitions from 13-17 on Sundays and selected holidays until the end of October.

Exhibition in the month of June

The artists exhibiting at the mill in June are Brynhild Bøtker Eriksen, Keld Stougaard and Pia Hauge. They are exhibiting under the theme Artist Group FRAGMENT.

Brynhild 's artistic work is based on her surroundings. With spatula and brush, she paints with acrylic on canvas and heavy paper. She also creates collages and mixed media - often on homemade paper and often with free embroidery. Brynhild's color palette is often subdued.

Keld works both with acrylics and digitally. Several of the images he exhibits at the mill are 'painted' in a drawing program and then specially printed. Keld is preoccupied with the content of the images, which often contain an attitude to a current problem - or simply a subtle thought.

Pia is interested in the rhythms of nature and music, as well as colors and shapes. Acrylic, brush and putty are her favorite tools, but she also expresses herself through collages and mixed media. Her motifs are often cubist and surreal with recognizable elements and a humorous twist.
