Archery from horseback

Autumn is also the time for hunting, and the Vikings practiced their skills with bow and arrow so they could hit the mark when wild boar and deer came within range. The Vikings also used bows and arrows in battle, and on September 9-10, Bork Vikingehavn will be visited by a rider who has immersed herself in the difficult art of shooting a bow and arrow from horseback. Meet the rider and her horse during the day and watch her demonstrate archery from horseback both days at 13:00.
