When the Vikings went to the summer markets, they traded local raw materials such as skins and amber for exotic spices or beautiful silk fabrics from distant lands. It was also at the markets that lost honor could be restored, thieves punished and marriages made. Come and experience all that a market entails when Bork Vikingehavn opens the gates to this year's Viking market. It offers everything from authentic Viking crafts, beautiful Icelandic horses, a Viking Tattoo, a (maybe) fair trial and, of course, a bunch of crazy jesters. 

Experiences for both young and old
A visit to Bork Viking Market is an experience for both young and old. The youngest members of the family can bake flatbread over a campfire, shoot a bow and arrow and play in the Viking playground. You can also meet the museum's archaeologists, who will tell you about the local finds they have made from the Viking Age. And when you get hungry, the menu offers everything from a sandwich inspired by Viking Age ingredients to a cold beer and ice cream.
