Come experience " Skjern Vindmølle " during fall break!

Local volunteers, trained in the intricacies of the windmill, are ready to show visitors around the mill and share its fascinating history.

Learn, among other things, about the hard work involved in grinding grain into flour in the past, and head up to the mill loft, where you can look down at the star-shaped ceiling and see the large, freestanding wooden gears that drive the mills. It’s easy to imagine just how cramped the miller’s working conditions were.

An art exhibition is on display in the mill’s adjacent, atmospheric rooms.
