Watch the wind turbine run

There is nothing new about using wind energy in Denmark, in fact, wind energy has been used since the Middle Ages.

After several years of careful renovation, Skjern Windmill is finally ready to paint again. A handful of local volunteers have been trained in the whimsical art of windmills, and they are looking forward to showing off the beautiful Dutch mill and - if the wind is willing - demonstrating how it can grind grain.
