Rappelling

Every Wednesday you can refuel your adrenaline account when you rappel down from Lyngvig Fyr - if you dare!

Lyngvig Fyr is one of Denmark's tallest lighthouses. Climb the 228 steps to the top - 53 meters above sea level. You'll be met by professional instructors from Team Nord, who will make sure you get thorough instruction and the necessary climbing equipment.

Practical information

Attire:
Wear clothes you can move in and running shoes or sneakers (boots are not recommended). Avoid loose-fitting sweaters or jackets as you will need to wear a climbing harness. Choose clothes that are allowed to get dirty and worn - leave the newest ones at home. It can be cold at the top, so bring an extra sweater or jacket to keep you warm and dry when you're not climbing.

Alcohol and drugs:
Intoxicated or under the influence individuals and groups may be refused participation. Booking and payment still applies in such cases.

Requirements for participants:
Participants must be at least 14 years of age. Youth under the age of 18 must bring a guardian or a signature from a legal guardian. The climbing harness fits a maximum height of 110 cm and a maximum weight of 110 kg.

About the instructors

Team Nord's instructors are all trained, certified and experienced in climbing. They provide thorough instruction and ensure a safe and secure course. It is therefore important that all participants follow the instructors' instructions carefully.
