Local history café

The local history cafés at Skjern Vindmølle offer interesting presentations. There is at least one speaker at each event, and the presentations are usually supplemented with photos and comments from the participants, providing many nuanced perspectives and information about life in Skjern in the 1900s.

The local history cafés start at 10 am. Participation is free and you can just show up.

Very welcoming

Was there for the first time. But was very welcoming. Nice elderly ladies offering tea, coffee and homemade things. A small art exhibition was also just there. 👍

Received a thorough guided tour

We got a really good tour, with good explanation of all the functions of the mill. As well as the history of the building of the mill, which has been moved 2 times. We say thank you very much.
